Pezhekee Lodge

This page is for the families staying in the lodge. If you're in a resort cabin or nearby, the main site has everything you need โ€” the agenda, info, and survey are all there.

Skip the front desk. Come straight to the house.

Lodge guests go directly to Pezhekee Lodge on arrival โ€” no need to stop at the resort office. Directions are on the Info & Map page. People will trickle in throughout Friday afternoon. Come whenever you get there, get settled, and find your people.

The resort front desk is where you'll pay when you leave on Monday, not where you start on Friday.

4,500 sq ft on Lake Minnewaska.

Three floors, 5 bedrooms, 5 full baths, 16 beds across kings, queens, twins, and bunks. Two full kitchens and two refrigerators. Multiple decks facing the lake, a 100-foot private beach with a dock, billiards, ping pong, arcade games, and a large TV setup. There's a practice putting green out front and the golf course is right across the road. The resort lights the fire pit with advance notice โ€” we've already asked.

How food works at the house.

We're doing a group grocery run before the weekend. Coffee and tea are available all day. Saturday and Sunday mornings the kitchen opens at 9 AM โ€” family is running it, not a restaurant. Come eat, pitch in if you're up for it, clean up after yourself.

All shared food at the lodge defaults to gluten-free and vegan-friendly. Meat and dairy are additions. All shared surfaces and equipment are kept gluten-free โ€” cross-contamination is taken seriously. If you're bringing outside food with gluten in it, keep it separate and clean up after.

No maid service. Wipe down surfaces after you use them, wash your dishes, leave the kitchen how you found it. Someone is always about to cook for a lot of people.
Be mindful of strong smells. We have family members โ€” including kids โ€” with sensitivities to strong scents of any kind: fragrance, smoke, or otherwise. Please keep perfume and cologne light indoors. If you plan to enjoy anything that produces a strong smell, take it outside and well away from the main gathering areas and away from children. This applies throughout the property, not just inside the house.

Tell us what you want in the survey. That's how we build the grocery list โ€” your coffee order, milk type, breakfast and lunch preferences, dietary needs, kid snacks. If you're coming from out of town, we can have it waiting when you arrive.
